Turning Exposure Into Opportunity
Young people need opportunities they can see, understand, and experience. The Who Will I Become Foundation is developing programs that combine inspiration with practical education, positive relationships, hands-on learning, and real-world exposure.
Our goal is to create experiences that help children and young adults expand their understanding of what is possible while developing the skills and confidence needed to move toward those possibilities.
As a growing foundation, our programs will continue to develop as we build partnerships, recruit mentors and volunteers, and connect young people with businesses, professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

Telling a young person they have potential is a crucial first step—but words only travel so far. Without a tangible picture of what that potential looks like, advice remains abstract. We recognize that motivation alone doesn't build careers; it must be paired with undeniable proof of what's possible.
When we walk them into a boardroom, a research lab, or a production studio, the abstract becomes attainable. Seeing professionals who look like them, working in spaces they previously didn't know existed, permanently shifts their perspective. Real-world exposure turns 'you can do it' into 'I belong here'.

When youth can visualize their future, they can build it. Our 10 core program areas are designed to turn raw potential into tangible opportunity, giving every individual the hands-on exposure they need to discover who they will become.
01 — Program
Positive relationships can change the way a young person sees themselves and their future. Our mentorship vision is to connect young people with supportive adults who can listen, encourage, answer questions, share experiences, and help participants think beyond their current circumstances.
02 — Program
Success requires more than career knowledge. We want young people to develop practical skills they can use throughout life, including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, responsibility, confidence, independence, and healthy goal setting.
03 — Program
A child cannot always dream about a career they have never heard of. We plan to introduce participants to a wide variety of fields, including healthcare, technology, skilled trades, business, entrepreneurship, creative industries, and professional careers.

04 — Program
Financial knowledge can expand a young person's choices. Our financial literacy experiences will help participants understand topics such as earning income, saving, budgeting, responsible financial decisions, entrepreneurship, and legitimate strategies for building financial security.

Connecting with leaders who guide, listen, and inspire.

Essential habits for personal and professional independence.

Expressing unique voices through visual and performing arts.

Prioritizing physical and mental well-being for a balanced life.

Empowering young voices to actively lead and serve the community.
Programs Are Only the Beginning
Our goal is not to expose a child to an opportunity once and hope it changes everything. We want to build a growing network of experiences, relationships, knowledge, and support that helps young people continue moving forward.
We're actively recruiting supportive adults who want to invest in young people's futures.
Businesses, professionals, and organizations can help expand what young people are exposed to.
